Natural and Classical Horsemanship Instruction:
Rosepine Ranch natural and classical horsemanship instruction incorporates methods through which a rider communicates and bonds with the horse.
The main purpose of natural horsemanship lessons is to create a relationship of trust and camaraderie between the horse and rider, so that the horse would respond to its human counterpart in the way it has been trained. The instruction begins with an assessment of the levels of horse and rider so a custom lesson plan can be created. |
Phase One: The first step primarily covers safety, basic skills, partnership and mental fitness.
Phase Two: This phase takes the handler into the horse's world, making him study the animal's body language so as to understand the horse's thoughts, reactions and needs
Phase Three: The final phase in the natural horsemanship training program helps a rider learn how to use cues of 'focus and energy' to communicate and direct movements to the horse. This can even be enhanced with Kundalini Yoga breath work and stretching.
